We are taught to obey authority.
In me, as in others, there is a rebel. However, I'm not talking about the typical rebel. Many of the traditional rebels get crushed.
For example, I once new this woman who was a typical rebel. Her enemy was capitalism, so she advocated boycotting business. For example, she wanted to boycott Wal-Mart. I believe this desire is prevalent.
What happens though? Wall-mart still exists. I am not judging this individual's desires. (if she's reading this, she probably recognizes herself..lol) I'm just saying that, despite her hating Wall-Mart, she has not been able to bring about Wall-Mart's demise..at least not yet.
This conflict between "capitalism" and "communism" exists in me. To me, communism is a form of altruism- a high level of human maturity. I will strive towards not being motivated by financial means. With a materialistic upbringing though, it is very difficult.
I also feel it is a mature thing to now when to pause. The time to pause this discussion is now. lol.
Bon voyage!
